Backstab provides an ongoing bonus to successful attacks made from behind.
Requirements
- Prerequisite: Four Back Attacks traded.
- Hand: Designate the hand when purchasing the Skill.
- Weapon Access: Use a weapon for which the character has the appropriate Weapon Skill.
- Position: Stand behind the target with a view of its shoulder blades. The attack may not come from the front or side, or by reaching around the target.
Effects
Each purchase adds two points of damage to qualifying successful attacks. The Skill may be purchased multiple times, and the bonuses are cumulative.
The bonus can be used with any weapon for which the character has the appropriate Skill, using the designated hand. Assassinate / Dodge requires two Backstabs per purchase.
